Busy busy busy!

Well, the last few weeks have gone by so fast. I can't believe that it is October already.  Dallas had a wonderful birthday. The celebrations lasted for three days.  We have our family on the 15th, we went to Chandler to see Nik's Grandma and Aunt Joni on the 16th and then we finished it off on the 17th with a party at the gym for his friends. He had so much fun. He even got to climb the rock wall! He did really well. Then all of the grandparents headed back to Nebraska. Nik's parents left on the 19th and Mom and Dad left on the 27th, and Nik did too. He had to be in Omaha for a training class. That left the kids and I a few days to spend with my parents. We got the last few days of swimming in for the season. The kids did really well in the pool this year. It was nice to watch them become more comfortable over the last few months.  Dad bought a 2009 Dodge Challenger while he was here. The kids love Grandpa's race car. Savannah even more then Dallas.

After everyone left we had to switch over to moving mode. Nik had be in Yuma on Monday of this week. Let me tell you, that was interesting moving with both kids "helping".  We got it done and he is settling in. We just have to get a few more things. Dallas got to ride to Yuma with Nik in the U-haul and he loved it. He thought he was such a big guy. He kept telling me that he was Nik's buddy and he got to have boy time in Dad's tuck. I love how the simple things can make such an impact on a kids day, or week in this case.  The kids are adjusting to having Nik out of town . I think it will take a while for them to understand. We will be able to video chat with him, that should help. Dallas understands, but I think Savannah is going to have a harder time.
Little girls and their Daddy. :)

More soon
